BG CUCRC6DPA — 6A C-Curve Type A Bidirectional RCBO (30mA, Double-Pole)

The BG Fortress CUCRC6DPA is a compact 6A C-curve bidirectional RCBO that combines residual-current (RCD) and overcurrent (MCB) protection in a single sleek module. Designed for modern domestic, commercial and renewables-ready electrical installations, this RCBO provides 30mA Type A earth-leakage detection and 6kA breaking capacity to safeguard circuits against faults, overloads and leakage currents.

Its bidirectional design means it can safely detect current flow in both directions — ideal for use in systems with renewable generation such as solar PV, battery storage and EV installations, as well as standard lighting and socket circuits.

The CUCRC6DPA combines two critical functions in one compact device:

Residual-current (RCD) protection: trips at 30 mA to reduce the risk of electric shock.

Overcurrent protection (MCB): C-curve characteristic to guard against overload and short-circuit events.

By providing double-pole isolation, it disconnects both live and neutral during a fault, improving safety and compliance with BS 7671 regulations.
