Fire Panels

A fire alarm panel is the central hub of a fire alarm system, collecting information from various fire detection devices and coordinating the system's response.

Connects to Detectors: The panel is wired or wirelessly connected to smoke detectors, heat detectors, manual call points and other fire detection devices.

Receives Signals: When a detector senses a potential fire, it sends a signal to the panel.

Processes Information: The panel interprets the signal, identifying the type of device triggered (smoke, heat, manual) and the specific zone where the alarm originated from.

Activates Alarms: In the event of a fire, the panel triggers alarms to alert building occupants of the danger.

System Control: The panel allows users to silence alarms, perform system tests and potentially adjust settings depending on the model.
