Dimplex Q-Rad is ideal for use in place of conventional convector heaters or electric radiators as it works by combining convected and radiant heat providing a more comfortable and accurate method of heating.

Functions include an ‘Away’ mode which allows setting of a return time and/or date to be set, which means the heater will maintain a lower background temperature in order to avoid mould or damp, returning to set timed operation upon your return. The Boost function provides the user with further autonomy over heating their environmnet by emitting an extra burst of heat outside of set timed heating periods. 

Q-Rad Radiators also feature an energy saving adaptive start function. This function learns the thermal characteristics of a room to then calculate how long the radiator needs to operate for in order to reach the target temperature according to room size, heat loss, weather conditions etc. This intelligent feature continually adapts to the current environment to minimise energy wastage and save money for users.

Q-rad electric radiators can now be controlled via smartphone using the Dimplex Control App *. Dimplex Control, gives users total command over supported Dimplex products wherever you are. The app allows you to control your  Dimplex products individually or by zone, and also allows you to track each product's energy usage.
