How Efficient Are Rointe Heaters?

Rointe heaters are highly energy efficient, converting 100% of the electricity they use into heat. Rointe radiators all benefit from a range of different features such as timers, electronic thermostats and smart functionality to provide users with maximum control over their heating.

Rointe Belize radiators use Optimizer Energy Plus which helps to reduce the amount of energy required to maintain a stable temperature; similarly, Rointe Kyros and Rointe D Series heaters feature Rointe’s patented Fuzzy Logic Energy Control, another version of the same energy-saving technology. The Kyros, Palaos, Belize and D Series oil filled electric heaters benefit from an environmentally thermal mineral fluid which has been formulated to maximise heat transfer and provides high levels of thermal conductivity.

Crafted from high quality aluminium, Rointe electric radiators provide enhanced heat transfer without excessive energy use. Aluminium benefits from a high thermal conductivity which results in faster heating times. Additionally, Rointe have designed their heaters with a controlled wattage per element which provides maximum heat dissipation with minimal energy use.

How Does a Rointe Radiator Work?

Rointe heaters provide warmth via natural convection, passing cool air from the bottom of the radiator across the internal heating element. A stable room temperature is achieved and maintained by moulded fins and high heat transfer thermal fluid. Convection heaters combine radiation, conduction and convection which allows them to evenly warm a room much quicker than radiant heaters. Rointe convection heaters do not contain any moving parts and operate silently.

With built-in Wi-Fi, Rointe D Series and Rointe Belize heaters can be controlled via smartphone, tablet or smart speaker allowing users to adjust temperatures, view data on their energy consumption, set heating programmes and remotely lock the heaters.

Rointe Kyros heaters come pre-installed with four editable heating programmes for “plug and play” heating. Kyros heaters can be controlled via the compact control panel with TFT screen or via Rointe’s Air remote and Basic remote. Palaos radiators use Liquid Stone Tech for efficient heating and boast a unique, slim design, ideal for installation in awkward, narrow spaces.

Are Rointe Heaters Oil Filled?

Rointe Kyros, Rointe Belize, Rointe D Series and Rointe Palaos heaters are all filled with an environmentally friendly mineral thermal fluid which has been developed specifically to maximise heat transfer. Using this fluid ensures maximum thermal conductivity whilst lowering the risk of corrosion.

Where Are Rointe Heaters Made?

Rointe heaters are manufactured in Spain and sold in 12 countries, including the UK.

How To Connect Rointe Heater To WiFi

To pair the Rointe Belize and D Series Heaters to Wi-Fi, you must create a “zone” in the Rointe app. Whilst inside this zone, press +> to start pairing: see the full explanation app setup from Rointe to make connecting to your radiators hassle-free.

How To Unlock Rointe Heater

To lock the Kyros or Palaos heaters via the keypad, press and hold the + and - buttons together for 3 seconds after which a padlock symbol will appear on the screen. Repeat the same process to unlock the heater. If the Kyros heater has been locked via remote control (Air or Basic), it can only be unlocked with the remote control.

Rointe Belize and D Series radiators can be locked and unlocked remotely via the Rointe Connect App, at any time from anywhere in the world.

Are Rointe Heaters Storage Heaters?

No, Rointe manufactures a range of electric radiators that are economical to run and produce heat on demand. The range includes electric heaters which can be controlled via Wi-Fi and generates reports on energy use. Unlike storage heaters, these electric heaters do not require a time of use tariff to provide their energy cost saving benefits

Are Rointe Radiators Any Good?

Rointe Kyros and D Series heaters benefit from Fuzzy Logic Energy Control, an advanced patented energy optimisation technology which reduces the amount of energy required to maintain temperature stability - Rointe Belize radiators use Optimizer Energy Plus, a different version of the same technology. These electric heaters also feature high heat transfer thermal fluid which ensures balanced dissipation and lower energy consumption. High purity aluminium enables heat transfer to occur at a highly efficient rate. Rointe Palaos use Liquid Stone Tech, which injects a gel that solidifies around the heating elements to concentrate more power in a smaller space and to improve temperature distribution.

As well as the physical features of Rointe radiators being designed for energy efficiency, the level of adaptability and control that the Rointe Connect App permits makes it even easier to save money and energy. Being able to monitor and change your heating settings directly from your smart devices means that you can reduce costs as much as possible. Rointe radiators are also LOT20 compliant which means that they either meet or exceed European efficiency standards.
