Our History

While Electricpoint itself was officially founded back in 2011, the family behind Electricpoint have been trading on the high street since 1910.

The opening of our website and first branch in Harringay was therefore both the start of something new and the latest chapter in a long history of wholesaling excellence, building off the connections made and experience gleaned from a century in the electrical goods business. 

Following 8 successful years, thanks to our dedication to service and forging customer connections, 2019 marked the opening of our second branch in Greenwich to solidify our presence across London. We then gained a valuable foothold in Suffolk in 2023 with the opening of our Ipswich branch.

Our online presence expanded at the same pace as our physical presence, growing to encompass everything from ventilation staples to modern electric car chargers. 

Thanks to our position as a leading member of ANEW, we have access to buying power far beyond most wholesalers. This allows us to offer some of the most competitive prices around from both household names and specialist manufacturers.

Today Electricpoint stands as one of the UK’s largest independent electrical wholesalers, a testament to our enduring commitment to quality, value and service.
