Returns Policy

We hope that you won't need to return an item, however, if you do, it is our aim to make the process as simple as possible. By following the guidance below you can help us to help you when a product is not what you expected, or is faulty. Your statutory rights are not affected by this guidance.  Some items may be subject to a handling fee if returned - this usually applies to specials or items that are high in price.  Please ask if would like to know if a carriage charge applies to your item.

Returns Policy

Electric Point allows for a 7 day period from the day the items are despatched for you to return unwanted goods for. Items should be unused, in a saleable condition, with their original packaging and with all component parts and any promotional items received. You should include your invoice and a completed returns form.  items not returned in their orginal condition will be subject to a charge.

Please note, unless the goods are faulty, incorrect or damaged, it is the customer's responsibility to return the items to us.  We can assist with this but there may be a small charge.  DIstance selling regulations do not cover the costs of sending the item back to the seller.

Certain items are excluded from the returns policy. These include goods that are made to measure, cut or mixed to your requirements.  Some items may also incur a handling charge of up to 20%, particulalry if they are 'special' items we have procured for you.  This does not apply to any Dimplex items.

IMPORTANT: To return an item you must first email returns@electricpoint.com with your order number and details of the items you wish to return.

Delivery charges will not be refunded.

Faulty Goods

If you purchased the item more than 14 days ago and has proven to be faulty or If the item has already been installed, email us at returns@electricpoint.com for further advice.  Please note we do not cover postage costs for goods returned under warranty, however, we will send out your replacement with no charge.

Damaged in transit

Goods must be inspected upon arrival by the customer - if the goods have been damaged in transit, you must inform us via returns@electricpoint.com within 24 hours of the receipt of goods.  Claims for goods damaged cannot be made outside of this time.


Most of our items are covered by manufacturer warranty - details of which are available on the manufacturer website.  Please bear in mind that warranties do not always supply an immediate replacement - on occasion the manufacturer may repair the item, in which case there will be a period of time that the item will be in the manufacturer's posessesion.
