The BG Fortress CUCRC10DPA is a compact, high-performance 10A C-curve bidirectional RCBO that combines residual-current protection with overload and short-circuit protection in a single module. Designed for modern domestic, commercial and renewable-ready installations, this RCBO delivers 30 mA Type A leakage detection, safeguarding circuits against earth leakage faults while also protecting against overloads and short circuits.

Its bidirectional design allows it to detect current flow in both directions — ideal for installations incorporating solar PV, battery storage or back-feed capable systems — while still providing comprehensive protection for lighting, socket and appliance circuits when used in consumer units and DIN-rail enclosures.

The CUCRC10DPA-01 integrates two essential protective functions in a single, space-efficient device:

Residual-current protection (RCD): trips at 30 mA to reduce the risk of electric shock and leakage faults

Overcurrent protection (MCB): C-curve characteristic guards against overloads and short circuits

The device’s double-pole isolation disconnects both live and neutral poles during a fault, offering enhanced safety and compliance with BS 7671 wiring regulations.
