BG CUCRC25DPA — 25A C-Curve Type A Bidirectional RCBO (30mA, Double-Pole)

The BG Fortress CUCRC25DPA is a 25A C-curve, bidirectional RCBO (Residual Current Breaker with Overload) that combines circuit-breaking and earth-leakage protection in a single compact module. Designed for modern domestic, renewable-ready and light-commercial applications, this device offers 30mA Type A residual-current protection with sensitivity to both AC and pulsed DC leakage, while also providing robust overload and short-circuit protection with a C-curve MCB characteristic.

Its bidirectional design makes it suitable for circuits where current may flow in either direction — including solar PV, battery storage and other back-feed capable systems — while still delivering dependable protection for standard lighting, socket and appliance circuits.

The CUCRC25DPA integrates two protective functions in a single module:

Residual-current protection (RCD): trips at 30 mA to guard against electric shock and leakage faults

Overcurrent protection (MCB): C-curve characteristic for reliable overload and short-circuit detection

With double-pole isolation, both live and neutral are disconnected during fault conditions for enhanced safety and compliance with BS 7671 regulations.

Space-Saving Design & Installer Convenience

Built to fit standard 35mm DIN rails and BG consumer units, this RCBO’s single-module width maximises space for additional devices and simplifies board layout. It includes a manual test button for periodic functional checks, an integrated neutral lead for easier wiring, and a wide -25 °C to +40 °C operating range suitable for typical site environments.
