Hager AFDD RCBO's

Hager AFDD RCBO's detect variations in electrical waveform resulting from faulty wiring, loose connections, rodent damage and malfunctioning plugs as well as earth leakage and short circuits. It automatically cuts off power to the affected circuit safeguarding AC circuits, protecting from electric shocks and preventing fires.

Starting from March 2022, in accordance with BS7671 18th Edition AMD2, AFDDs have become compulsory in Higher Risk Residential Buildings, Houses in Multiple Occupation, Purpose-built Student Accommodations, and Care Homes. They must be installed at the source of any single-phase AC final circuits that provide power to socket outlets with a rated current of up to 32A.
