These insulated side cutters feature wire stripping notches for effortless, damage-free stripping of 1.5mm² and 2.5mm² wires, combined with powerful cutting capabilities for safe live working up to 1,000V. With a new improved handle design, induction-hardened jaws and lanyard-ready tether points, the CK Tools RedLine VDE Side Cutters deliver durability, ergonomic comfort and uncompromising safety.  

Wire Stripping Notches: Dedicated notches for 1.5mm² and 2.5mm² wires ensure effortless, damage-free stripping, perfect for cable preparation in electrical installations and maintenance. 

Precision Cutting Performance: Induction-hardened jaws with C.K optimised geometry deliver outstanding long-term performance, cutting hard wire (up to 1.6mm), medium-hard wire (up to 2.2mm), and soft wire (28mm) with unrivalled precision. 

Enhanced Ergonomic Handle: 30% more material in the new improved handle design with rounded edges reduces fatigue and enhances comfort during prolonged use. The two-component ergonomic handle with anti-slip horns provides superior grip, control and safety for electricians and contractors. 

Lanyard-Ready for Safe Working: Fully integrated tether connection points in each handle comply with VDE standards and ANSI standards for working at height. Pair with optional CK Tools lanyards for secure operation on scaffolding, ladders, or elevated platforms. 

VDE-Approved Safety: Individually tested to 10,000V for safe live working up to 1,000V, ensuring maximum protection during electrical repairs and installations. Certified to IEC 60900:2004, VDE0682/201, and ISO 5749 for BS 7671:2018 compliance. 

Durable Construction: Crafted from drop-forged special alloy steel, hardened and tempered for exceptional strength and durability, built to withstand demanding UK work environments.
