The Collingwood DLSENSE H2 Sense LED Downlight is a fire-rated LED downlight with integrated PIR motion sensor, designed for intelligent lighting control in residential and commercial spaces. Combining automatic motion detection, colour temperature switching and fire-rated protection, this innovative downlight is ideal for areas where lights are often left on unnecessarily, such as hallways, stairwells, bathrooms and utility spaces.

Delivering up to 675 lumens from just 6W, the H2 Sense provides efficient illumination while reducing energy waste by automatically switching lights off when no movement is detected. With CCT switching between 2700K, 3000K and 4000K, installers can easily select the preferred light colour during installation.

Integrated PIR Motion Sensor With Adjustable Settings

The built-in PIR motion sensor automatically switches the downlight on when movement is detected and turns it off when the space is no longer occupied. This makes the fitting ideal for energy-saving lighting control in residential and commercial environments.

The sensor includes adjustable settings for:

Hold time: 30 seconds to 15 minutes

Sensitivity: detection range from approximately 10cm to 2 metres

Lux level: prevents activation when sufficient daylight is present

The downlight also features a switched live output, allowing it to control additional lights up to 200W total load (maximum 30 H2 Sense fittings).

Fire Rated LED Downlight For Safer Installations

The H2 Sense is fully fire-rated, helping maintain the integrity of fire-rated ceilings in the event of a fire. The fitting has been tested for:

30, 60 and 90 minutes in solid timber ceilings

30 minutes in I-joist and metal web joist constructions

With IP65 protection from below, the downlight is suitable for bathroom Zone 1 installations, making it ideal for bathrooms, ensuites and wet areas.

Flexible Installation And Energy Efficient Design

Designed for quick installation, the H2 Sense includes integrated loop-in / loop-out terminals and fits ceiling cut-outs between 68–72mm, allowing it to replace many standard downlights easily.

The luminaire supports rolled and blown insulation cover, making it suitable for modern insulated ceilings. With efficacy up to 113lm/W and a 44,000-hour LED lifetime, the downlight provides reliable long-term performance.

Bezels are sold separately, allowing installers to choose the finish that best suits the interior design.
