The Manrose Round Backdraught Shutter preventscold breezes from entering a property, enhancing comfort and energy efficiency.

Designed to connect two lengths of 100mm ducting and direct airflow only in one direction. Can also be mounted on the spigots of the Manrose XF100 and SF100 range fans.

Have to say, thought this would have two springs as there is a a space on opposite side to fit one to. Contacted supplier very informative reply, only one spring is necassary in normal operation.
Pity it dose not fit direct onto the model of fan I bought.

Electricpoint 100

Just purchased the Manrose extractor in fan from electricpoint I must it is excellent works very well and near silent you just here the rush of air,very easy to fit.The staff at electricpoint were excellent very helpful and knowledgeable,it was delivered on time on the date stated.I would thoroughly recommend electropoint.You must remember if you have the backdraft shutter which is a very good add on you must clean it periodically.Martin Douglas

First time i have used electricpoint and i would certainly recommend them

This back draft extractor will prevent air blowing from outside back through the fan in to the bathroom when it is not operating. It is better than many others that I have seen as it has a small spring that holds the flaps shut preventing air blowing through from the outside, but opens allowing air to be extracted when the fan is running.
The only reason for 4 stars as opposed to 5 was the spring had not been installed correctly and it didn’t close the flaps- this was easily rectified by removing the spring, adjusting its position and replacing it- all working as it should now.
