The Elnur ECOHHR20 Solar is a smart high heat retention storage heater designed to maximise the use of off-peak grid electricity and self-generated solar PV energy. Engineered for modern, energy-conscious homes, it intelligently stores low-cost electricity as heat and releases it efficiently throughout the day, reducing reliance on peak-rate power and helping homeowners get more value from their solar installation.

Fully compatible with standard mains electricity and solar-generated energy, the ECOHHR20 Solar provides flexible heating that adapts to how and when electricity is available.

Designed for Grid Electricity & Solar PV Integration

The ECOHHR20 Solar can charge using:

Off-peak grid electricity (such as Economy 7 or similar tariffs)

On-peak grid electricity when required

Surplus solar PV energy, storing excess generation as usable heat instead of exporting it back to the grid

This makes it ideal for properties with solar panels, allowing free or low-cost renewable energy to be captured and used later for space heating, improving overall energy efficiency and self-consumption.

High Heat Retention with Intelligent Energy Control

Featuring a high-density ceramic core and advanced insulation, the heater retains heat for longer and releases it only when needed. Built-in smart controls monitor room temperature, user settings and available energy sources to optimise charging and heat output automatically.

Please Note: Elnur Ecombi solar storage heaters require the addition of 1 Elnur Solar Box per home to allow for the integral control and management of the heaters with the G Control System

Please note that cost savings can only be made if the house has an unrestricted E7 or E10 tariff variant from their energy provider, allowing the heaters to operate 24/7 and be charged off-peak prices during off-peak hours and peak prices during peak hours.
