Envirovent SIL100HT 100mm domestic axial extract fan with timer and humidistat for wall or ceiling installations, designed to solve ventilation problems in WC's and bathrooms. Part of the Silent 100 range from Envirovent, the ultra quiet ventilation fan features an intelligent timer which automatically calculates the amount of time to operate, depending on how long the fan has been running for, or the user can adjust the timer manually between 1 and 30 minutes.

The additional feature of the humidistat sensor allows for adjustable operation between 60-90% RH and continues to work until the bathroom reaches the selected level. The impeller axial flow fan creates an incredibly silent running performance and also features a backdraught shutter and airflow guide vanes as standard.

Quiet, but not silent. You can't hear it at all from outside the bathroom when the door is closed, but when you're in the bathroom you can hear it. You can't hear it when you're showering.
It seems to clear the steam quite quickly.
I like the customisability. I have it set to run on for 5 mins after the light has been turned on, and also turn itself on and run until it gets the humidity down to 60%. Handy if you shower in daylight and forget to turn on the light. It seems to struggle to get the humidity down as low as 60% unless the window is left open a crack.
I found it easy to install. Definitely a good upgrade from our old cheap fan!

Seems to be working well. My electrician was able to install with only 2 wires which means timer can't work and I rely on humidistat but that seems to be fine. I set on max humidity 90. Much quieter than previous fan.

How can you improve on perfect delivered less than 24 hours from ordering
The Envirovent 100HT Silent fan was a replacement for the existing market leading 4 year old fan which was too noisy for our ensuite bathroom.
The 100HT was easy to install and when I switched it on my wife and I could hardly hear it. It is perfect and I am going to buy another one for our house bathroom.

First of all it is a great product:
- quiet
- good engineering (details below)
Missing:
- description of the "startup timer or delayed start function" missing. You can activate it and fan will not start if usage time of the bathroom is less than 50 sec. Very useful from my perspective.
- you need to add the picture of the backside of the fan - good engineering and nice design: board with electronic components is covered, nice looking and easy to customise board with switches

Good service
Does exactly the job intended. The humidistat controls the fan correctly, and there are plenty of settings to control the detail. The "interval" mode is a little confusing as it is intended to cover the two extremes of always very humid, and never humid enough, with differing behaviours. I've solved that by just not using that mode.
