Hager VMEF109SPD — 9 Way Flush Consumer Unit, 100A Switch Disconnector Incomer with Single Module Type II SPD Provision

Hager VMEF109SPD is a 9 way flush consumer unit from the Design Evo range, fitted with a 100A double-pole switch disconnector as the incomer and a single module space for a Type II surge protection device. Built for flush mounting into a hollow wall via the separable back box and frame, it keeps switchgear protected from dust and plaster until second fix.

Fast, Tidy Installation

As a flush-mounted board, the VMEF109SPD uses Design Evo's separable inner assembly, so the back box goes in at first fix while the switchgear stays clean and stored away until second fix, with an adjustable depth for a neat, flush finish. The 100A switch disconnector incomer is fitted as standard, so there's no separate main switch to source or wire in.

The single module SPD provision means Type II surge protection can be added directly into the board's busbar system without needing a separate enclosure, keeping the install compact and tidy.

Safety & Reliability

This flush consumer unit with SPD provision carries IP4X ingress protection and IK05 impact resistance, so it holds up against knocks and keeps live parts enclosed. The steel enclosure isn't interlockable and the door isn't transparent, keeping the design straightforward for standard domestic and light commercial installs.

The 100A rated incomer gives standard headroom for a domestic supply, and the non-combustible steel construction meets the regulatory requirements for consumer units in domestic premises.
