The Horstmann C1727 is a wireless receiver with programmable thermostat display (PTD) designed to provide flexible, energy-efficient control of modern heating systems. Capable of managing up to two channels, it is ideal for combi boilers, system boilers, and installations requiring separate control of heating and hot water or two heating zones.

Smart Wireless Control with App Connectivity

Out of the box, the C1727 is wireless enabled and can be controlled locally using the Secure installer and user app on Android or iOS. With the addition of an optional Wi-Fi adaptor, full remote control is available, allowing end users to manage their heating system from anywhere. Local override buttons on the receiver provide manual control when required.

Improved Efficiency with Load Compensation

When used with the programmable thermostat display, the C1727 applies load compensation algorithms to prevent boiler short-cycling and temperature overshoot. This results in more consistent comfort levels and improved boiler efficiency, helping reduce energy consumption compared with traditional on/off controls. Optimum start and stop functions further enhance efficiency and user comfort.
