The JCC Line of Light LED Linear 4ft Direct/Indirect EM 40W CCT DALI UGR Black is a 1205mm architectural fitting designed for offices, classrooms, corridors and other commercial interiors that require both comfortable lighting and integrated emergency cover. Its UGR-optimised optic helps reduce glare and screen reflections, supporting visual comfort in modern, screen-heavy workspaces. The slim black housing delivers a crisp direct/indirect “line of light” that works as a design feature on its own or as part of a continuous system.

40W output with 3CCT flexibility and DALI dimming

This Line of Light model provides a fixed 40W output with around 4200 lumens, achieving an efficacy of 105 lm/W for bright yet efficient general lighting. A built-in 3CCT selector (3000K, 4000K, 5700K) lets you tune the ambience at the point of installation, from warm white in reception and breakout spaces to neutral or cool white in task and circulation areas. The constant-current BOKE driver supports both DALI-2 (DT-6) and switch-dim control, allowing smooth dimming and straightforward integration with modern lighting control systems. A 70° beam angle and CRI 80 help ensure even, comfortable illumination across the working plane.

3-hour emergency performance and installer-friendly system

An integral emergency module with a LiFePO₄ 3.2V 3300mAh battery provides a minimum three-hour emergency run time, 24-hour recharge and deep-discharge protection, delivering around 5% light output ratio (LOR) in emergency mode to support compliance requirements. The fitting’s two-part construction gives easy access to terminations and internal components, helping to reduce installation time and simplify maintenance. Designed for surface or suspended mounting, it forms part of the wider Line of Light system, working with plug-and-play linking kits, corners and 2m/5m suspension kits to create longer runs, squares and rectangles. With a 50,000-hour LED lifetime and 5-year warranty including batteries (terms apply), it’s a robust, low-glare emergency solution for commercial schemes.
