Kewtech Loopcheck 107 Advanced Socket Tester

The Kewtech Loopcheck 107 is an easy to use, advanced socket tester which checks the most important parameters for safe wiring.

Loopcheck 107 checks socket connections, quality of earth loop return path, RCDs, mains polarity and earth fault loop impedance and indicates results via LEDs.

The loopcheck 107 checks if the earth path is missing and also whether the path is of high enough quality to be safe. Traditional socket testers are not capable of checking the quality of the path.

The wiring check will run automatically once Loopcheck is inserted into a socket. The LED indicators are positioned to represent the polarity of the pins making fault detection even quicker. Green LEDs combined with a continuous tone indicate a satisfactory result. Any detected faults are indicated by red and orange LEDs and a warble tone. Once the socket polarity test is completed and any faults are fixed the tester will then test for the quality of the earth loop. The Loopcheck 107 can also check for the correct polarity of the mains supply. By touching the left hand touch pad the correct polarity of the mains supply is verified. The button on the right-hand side puts out a measured tripping current to check the operation of 30mA RCDs.
