MK Sentry AFDD RCBO 16A Type B Double Pole 6kA H4416S

The MK Sentry H4416S offers combined Arc Fault Dertection and Residual Current Breaker with Overcurrent Protection for complete peace of mind, protecting against short circuits, arc faults and earth leakage alike.

The incorporated AFDD monitors current and voltage waveforms to detect dangerous arcing conditions and disconnect the circuit when a fault is identified. This sytem detects arc fault that might otherwise go unnoticed, working alongisde a built-in MCB which actives on detection of an overcurrent.

All MK Sentry MCBs feature a standard 6kA breaking capacity and accommodate cables up to 35mm².

The toggle (dolly) switch can be securely locked in either the ON or OFF position without impairing the functionality of the tripping mechanism. In the event of a fault, the contacts cannot be closed, ensuring safe operation. Each unit also includes an integrated filtering device to minimise the risk of nuisance tripping caused by transient voltage surges in the supply.
