The NexBlue Ready is a pre-installed docking system designed to help homes, commercial sites and parking locations prepare EV charging infrastructure before the charger is required. It allows the electrical installation and backplate to be fitted in advance, giving customers a lower-cost route to future EV charger deployment.

Prepared For Future Charger Upgrades

The NexBlue Ready includes a pre-installed backplate with blind cover, allowing spaces to be prepared now and upgraded with compatible NexBlue chargers later. Backplate RFID stores configuration data, while NexSync can auto-transfer updated settings to future-installed chargers locally.

This makes it ideal for apartments, workplaces, car parks and developments where EV charging demand is expected to grow over time.

Faster, Cleaner Installation Planning

By completing the electrical preparation once, NexBlue Ready helps reduce future installation work and disruption. The new backplate design supports top, bottom and rear cable entry, six individual cable entries, adjustable cable clamps and a spacious interior for easier cable routing.

It is compatible with NexBlue’s new backplate charger range, including NexBlue Edge 2, NexBlue Edge Max, NexBlue Delta, NexBlue Point 2 and NexBlue Delta Max.

Durable Backplate Design

The NexBlue Ready backplate is built for long-term installation with UV resistance, IK10 impact protection and IP44 ingress protection when fitted with the blind cover. It also includes an integrated spirit level, reinforced design, optimised thermal management and a flat terminal layout for tighter wiring connections.
