Spit HC6-17 FH 057556 pins are 17mm flush-head, collated gas nails designed for high-performance direct fixing into hard concrete, prestressed concrete and structural steel using Spit Pulsa gas nailers. With a 3mm hardened carbon steel shank, 6.4mm head and mechanical zinc coating, they deliver reliable penetration and holding power in tough substrates while helping to resist corrosion in internal environments.

Short 17mm Pin For Track, Clips & Light Brackets

The 17mm length is a good all-round choice where you need secure fixing without excessive embedment – for example drywall track, deflection heads, clips, saddles and small brackets on slabs, cores and beams. HC6 pins are tested in non-cracked concrete at 15mm embedment with characteristic tensile resistance of 0.87kN and shear resistance of 0.75kN, with recommended working loads around 0.30kN in both tension and shear when spacing and edge distances are observed.

Flush Head Finish For Snag-Free Installations

HC6 FH pins use a special collation that fragments on impact so the plastic strip doesn’t remain under the head. That leaves the steel head sitting flush with the fixed component, reducing the risk of snagging on boards, cable tray, pipework or other services and giving a neater finish in risers, voids and behind plasterboard.

Supplied as a 500-pin box complete with 1 fuel cell, HC6-17 FH pins are ready for rapid, repetitive fixing with Spit Pulsa tools straight out of the box. They are compatible with Pulsa P27E/P27P (HC6-15 to HC6-27), Pulsa P40E/P40P/P40P+, Pulsa P65 and Pulsa P800E/P800P nailers, covering most electrical and mechanical first-fix tasks on concrete and steel in any orientation – floor, wall or overhead – without drilling and plugging.

Engineered For Hard Concrete & Structural Steel

Shanks are hardened to ≥56HRC and designed specifically for concrete C20/25 to C50/60, prefabricated and prestressed concrete, and structural steels such as S235–S355. In steel, HC6 pins provide characteristic tensile resistances up to 3.74kN with recommended tensile loads up to 1.49kN and shear loads up to 1.20kN (depending on embedment), helping to improve success rates when fixing into challenging base materials.

Typical applications include fixing drywall track and deflection heads, cable clips and saddles, small brackets, trunking and light containment to concrete soffits, walls and structural steel on commercial, residential and industrial projects.
