Timeguard MLB3001 — 220° IP65 Standalone PIR Sensor With 12m Detection Range

The Timeguard MLB3001 is a wide-angle standalone PIR sensor designed to bring automatic, energy-saving control to outdoor and perimeter lighting. With a 220° adjustable sensing head and up to 12m detection range, it provides broad coverage from a single point, helping reduce dark spots around car parks, loading bays and building entrances.

Wide Coverage, Smarter Control

A pan-and-tilt sensor head (45° pan, 30° tilt) makes it easy to aim detection exactly where you need it, cutting nuisance triggering from roads or neighbouring properties. Four operating modes — standard PIR, photocell (dusk-to-dawn), learn mode (locks in the ambient level at setup) and manual override via the wall switch — give flexibility to tailor operation to each site and client. Adjustable time-on from 2seconds to 15minutes ensures lights only stay on as long as required.

Installer-Friendly, Built For Tough Sites

Engineered for trade installs, the MLB3001 carries a heavy-duty 3kW incandescent/halogen rating plus generous LED and fluorescent capacities, so it can switch multiple fittings from one sensor. Screwless terminals and twin rear cable entries with closed grommets speed up wiring, while IP65 and IK07 ratings with a tough polycarbonate body provide long-term durability in exposed locations. Sensors can be wired in parallel to expand the detection area while controlling the same load. Red scanning LEDs across the lens act as a visible deterrent and can be disabled if not required.
