Vent-Axia Acoustic Residential Purge Ventilator 477988 is an acoustically treated purge fan designed to rapidly remove indoor pollutants and help reduce the impact of overheating in residential dwellings. It can be used alongside a Sentinel Kinetic MVHR system or as a standalone purge ventilation solution, helping satisfy Approved Document F purge requirements for new build homes.

Rapid Purge Ventilation

The Acoustic Purge Fan is designed for rapid local extract, helping clear heat and pollutants from habitable rooms. This supports a more comfortable indoor environment during warm periods or when extra ventilation is needed.

Acoustically Treated For Low Noise

The fan is treated with acoustic foam to reduce breakout and in-duct noise, making it well suited to apartments and residential projects where occupant comfort matters. Its low-profile design also supports discreet installation in tight ceiling or service voids.

Flexible System Integration

The 477988 can operate with a Sentinel Kinetic MVHR unit or independently via a separate switched live connection or 0-10V external sensor input. It can also be used with controllable duct dampers and background ventilators to manage supply air during purge operation.
