The Vent-Axia 472671 is the genuine OEM ISO ePM2.5 70% (F7) supply air filter for the Lo-Carbon Sentinel Kinetic Advance MVHR range, supplied as a single filter per pack. Formerly classified as F7 under the EN779 standard and now rated as ISO ePM2.5 70% under ISO 16890, it is the highest-grade supply filter available for the Kinetic Advance range — designed for dwellings in urban, roadside, or high-pollution environments where removing fine particulate matter from the incoming supply air is a priority for occupant health.

The Highest Supply Filter Grade for the Kinetic Advance

The F7 filter sits at the top of the Sentinel Kinetic Advance filter hierarchy. Where the G4 standard filter captures coarser particles and the M5 pollen filter (472669) captures particles down to 10 microns, the F7 goes further — capturing 70% or more of particles in the PM2.5 size range. At this level, the filter intercepts the very fine particulate matter found in exhaust fumes, industrial emissions, smoke, mould spores, bacteria, and other airborne contaminants that are small enough to penetrate deep into the respiratory system. For occupants in city-centre properties, homes near busy roads, or any dwelling where outdoor air quality is a concern, the F7 provides the most comprehensive supply air filtration the Kinetic Advance system can deliver.

Supply Air Filter Only — Extract Uses Standard G4

The Kinetic Advance uses separate filters for supply and extract air paths. This filter replaces the supply air filter only — the G4 extract filter (472667) continues to protect the heat exchanger and is maintained and replaced separately. Because the F7 is a denser filter medium than the G4 or M5, it will load up with captured particulate more quickly in heavily polluted environments — Vent-Axia recommends checking filters at three months post-installation and then at least every six months, with replacement at least every twelve months. In urban or high-pollution locations, more frequent inspection and replacement may be needed.
