Vent-Axia Sentinel Kinetic ePM10 ISO 50% Coarse Filter 2 Pack 472153

Vent-Axia 472153 — Sentinel Kinetic FH ISO ePM10 50% (M5) Pollen Filter, Pack of 2.

The Vent-Axia 472153 is the genuine OEM ISO ePM10 50% (M5) pollen filter for the Lo-Carbon Sentinel Kinetic FH MVHR range, supplied as a pack of two. Formerly known as M5, this filter removes smaller particles including pollen — providing a higher level of supply and extract air filtration than the standard G3 filter (409764) for occupants who require improved indoor air quality, particularly those with hay fever, allergies, or respiratory sensitivities.

Why Upgrade to M5 on the Sentinel Kinetic FH?

The Sentinel Kinetic FH is a flat, horizontal MVHR unit designed for installation in loft spaces and ceiling voids where a conventional upright unit cannot be accommodated. Like all MVHR systems it operates continuously, drawing external air through the filters before supplying it to the habitable rooms. The standard G3 filter provides the minimum required level of filtration, capturing coarser airborne particles. Upgrading to the M5 grade captures an additional range of finer particles — including pollen grains, stone dust, and other particles down to 10 microns — that pass through the G3 filter, meaningfully improving the quality of air delivered to bedrooms and living spaces throughout the pollen season and beyond.

Pack of 2 — Both Filters Upgraded Together

The 472153 is supplied as a pack of two — upgrading both the supply and extract filter positions simultaneously. This is consistent with the filter configuration of the Sentinel Kinetic FH, which uses matching filters in both positions. Vent-Axia recommends checking filters at three months post-installation to account for construction dust, then at least every six months, with replacement at least every twelve months — or more frequently in higher-pollen or urban environments.
