Vent Axia Wireless PIR Sensor 496438

Vent-Axia 496438 240V Wireless PIR Sensor is a mains-powered occupancy sensor for compatible Vent-Axia ventilation systems. Its 3m passive infrared detection range and adjustable 5–25-minute run-on timer support demand-led ventilation, helping maintain airflow while a room is occupied and for a selected period afterwards.

Occupancy-Responsive Ventilation

The passive infrared sensor detects movement within a 3m range, allowing a compatible ventilation system to respond automatically when a room is in use. This is particularly useful for bathrooms, WCs, utility rooms and other spaces where ventilation demand changes with occupancy.

Adjustable Run-On Control

A selectable run-on period between 5 and 25 minutes keeps the connected ventilation system operating after occupancy is no longer detected. Contractors can adjust the duration to suit the room and project requirements, helping clear residual moisture and stale air without continuous high-rate ventilation.

Wireless System Integration

Wireless communication reduces the need for a dedicated control cable between the sensor and compatible ventilation equipment. This provides greater flexibility when positioning the sensor within new build and managed residential projects.

Permanent 240V Operation
