AFSS18 Fusebox Consumer Unit 18P Surface Spacer

FuseBox AFSS18 is a 30mm surface spacer for 18P consumer units, made from 1mm electro-galvanised steel and powder coated to RAL 9001. It stands the consumer unit off the wall to create a tidy cavity for surface cables and mini trunking.

Room to Route Cables Behind the Board

The AFSS18 sets an 18P consumer unit 30mm forward from the wall, giving you space to bring cables in neatly behind the board. Mini trunking knockouts along the top and bottom (5 x 35mm x 15mm and 2 x 21mm x 15mm on each side) let surface trunking run straight into the spacer. You don't need to chase walls or cut extra entries into the consumer unit. It's a practical solution for solid walls, rewires and larger boards with plenty of circuits to bring in.

Built From Galvanised Steel

The 1mm electro-galvanised steel construction gives a strong base for a fully populated 18P consumer unit, while the zinc coating protects against corrosion. The RAL 9001 powder coating adds a hard-wearing, clean finish that blends with a white consumer unit. At 372mm wide, the spacer gives a wide board a consistent, professional surround.

Quick Keyhole Installation

Four keyhole slots let you hang the spacer on wall screws, check it's level and tighten it in place without holding it at the same time. The consumer unit then fixes to the spacer's four M6 threaded inserts on 274mm x 183mm centres, using the 4 screws supplied. All the fixings needed to secure the consumer unit to the spacer come in the box.
