Aico EI146RC optical smoke alarm responds to slow smouldering fires (e.g. sofas and electrical fires). The alarm operates using the mains power supply with a replaceable 9V alkaline battery back up in case of electrical mains failure. It can be operated independently or may be interconnected to other alarms via the optional RadioLink base. This upgrade will allow the smoke alarm to wirelessly connect to other RadioLINK detectors in your property, saving additional wiring complications in areas that are hard to access. The alarm features an easi-fit base for quick installation and a test/hush button to facilitate frequent testing of the alarm. The silent function allows the alarm to be silenced in case of a false alarm. Ideal for hallways, landings, living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms.

With the recent release of the Aico Ei146e, Ei146RC has now been superceded. The Ei146e provides a clean, modern, slimline design, perfect for seamless blending within most modern decors.
