Untethered 22kW Charging for Every Type 2 EV

The Andersen Q delivers up to 22kW through an untethered Type 2 socket, so it suits any Type 2 electric car or plug-in hybrid. There's no fixed cable coiled on the wall, which keeps the Midnight Black unit neat and compact at 286mm tall. The front LED status light and illuminated socket make plugging in easy, even after dark.

Solar-Ready, App-Controlled Smart Charging

Pair the Andersen Q with solar panels to charge from your own renewable energy and cut grid use. It supports smart tariffs such as Intelligent Octopus Go, so your car charges when electricity is cheapest. Through integrated WiFi and the Andersen App, you can lock the charger remotely, set charging schedules, view detailed charging reports and monitor solar input. Over-the-air updates keep features current without a site visit.

Six Layers of Built-In Safety Monitoring

The Andersen Q watches for faults continuously, so problems are caught before they become hazards. A Real-Time Health Monitor System and Start-Up Self-Test check the unit every session. Earth Monitoring, Contactor Fault Detection and PME Monitoring add further protection, alongside internal 6mA DC protection. IP65 and IK10 ratings mean it stands up to rain, dust and knocks outdoors.

Faster, Cheaper Installation With No Earth Rod

Integrated PME monitoring removes the need for an earth rod, saving installers time and reducing costs for the customer. Wired current sensors and current-reducing hardware drive dynamic load management. The charger shares power intelligently with the rest of the home and prevents supply overloads, which often avoids the need for a costly supply upgrade. The Andersen Q is CE certified and backed by 7 years of Andersen Care Cover (subject to terms).
