ASD Lighting AB/BP4LED600P: an 8.5W anti-vandal LED bulkhead with an integrated PIR sensor, IP65/IK11 protection and a white prismatic diffuser in a black body.

This rugged, motion-activated bulkhead delivers 583.1lm of 4000K neutral white light. It’s built for demanding indoor and outdoor locations where durability and security matter most.

Built to Withstand Abuse

The body and diffuser are both made from vandal-resistant polycarbonate. That means fewer call-outs and replacements in high-risk areas such as stairwells, car parks and communal entrances. An IK11 impact rating gives it serious protection against deliberate damage. Anti-tamper screws come as standard, so the fitting stays secure once installed.

Both materials also have self-extinguishing fire properties. This adds peace of mind in social housing, transport hubs and other public-facing buildings.

Energy-Saving PIR Motion Control

The integrated PIR sensor switches the light on only when movement is detected. This cuts wasted energy in corridors, entrances and walkways that sit empty for long periods. Combined with an efficient 8.5W LED that delivers 68.6lm/W, you get dependable illumination with lower running costs.

The white prismatic diffuser spreads the light evenly and controls glare. The 4000K colour temperature gives the crisp, neutral white that suits security and utility lighting.

Installer-Friendly Installation & Compliance

The fitting can be mounted on a wall or ceiling and is suitable for both internal and external use, so one product covers a wide range of jobs. Multiple 20mm knockouts, BESA fixing and rear cable entry make it easy to fit to new or existing wiring. The screw-down cover and 3-way mains terminal block keep wiring quick and secure on site.

The fitting is UKCA and CE marked, compliant with BS EN 60598 and Class I rated. It is backed by a 5-year LED guarantee. Opal and red diffuser options are also available across the range.
