Fire Safety & Compliance

Specify with confidence on fire-rated ceilings. The EFD PRO is tested in 30, 60 and 90 minute fire rated ceiling constructions and fire tested with solid timber, I-joist and metal web joists, so it's suited to the widest range of new-build and refurbishment projects without swapping products between ceiling types.

Fibre-based insulation can be run right up to the fixture, covered to 300mm, when used with the LED lamp, so installers don't need to leave awkward insulation gaps around each downlight.

Fast, Flexible Installation

Fitted with a push-fit terminal block, the EFD PRO speeds up first fix on multi-downlight jobs by cutting out screw terminals. Interchangeable twist-and-lock bezels let you change the finish on site without re-wiring the can, useful when a spec changes late or when matching bezels across different rooms.

This contractor 10 pack bundles ten complete lamp, can and white bezel kits together, making it a straightforward one-box solution for whole-house or multi-room downlight installations.

Built to Last

Each kit is supplied with Aurora's ClearVu colour switchable GU10 lamp, so the colour temperature can be set on site to suit the room rather than committing to a single fixed CCT lamp. The white cast aluminium bezel is included as standard, with a wider range of finishes available separately if a different look is needed later.

The EFD PRO range carries a 7 year warranty, giving contractors and specifiers a long-term guarantee to pass on to their clients.
