BG Electric 822/HC is a 2 gang, 13A smart socket.

Packed with features, this smart socket allows you to control whatever is connected to it via a simple smartphone app, your voice or touch.

822/HC smart socket allows you to set up timers and delays to power your devices on/off at specific times. This is ideal for making sure lights are on when you get home, or hair straighteners don't get left on all day. It is also ideal for mimicking occupancy of the home when you are out for security reasons.

Parental controls allow you to deactivate the buttons on the faceplate, meaning that the switches cannot be turned on or off at the wall. The parental controls also allow you to share the control of the sockets with other people whilst protecting any key settings.

Multiple homes can be managed through the app and switching between properties is quick and easy. It is also possible to set custom notifications to alert you to devices going offline and provide awareness of device statuses at all times.

With no subscription, cloud cost or hub required, the 822/HC smart socket can be easily controlled and set up through the app. BG 822/HC also works with Siri, Alexa, IFTTT and Google Home.

Integration with IFTTT allows you to control sockets based on dependants such as weather or other smart home devices.
