Consort Over Door Heater 4.5kW Single HE7420

Consort Claudgen HE7420: 4.5kW single door heated air curtain in white, designed to create a welcoming barrier of warm air across doorways up to 630mm wide.

Energy-Saving Doorway Protection

This overdoor heater creates a continuous stream of heated air across frequently used external doorways in shops, hotels, offices, and other commercial premises. By maintaining an airstream barrier at the entrance, the air curtain prevents warm air escaping and cold air entering, reducing overall heating costs compared to leaving a doorway unprotected. Three heat settings plus a fan-only mode for air circulation in warmer months give you year-round control over comfort and energy use.

Flexible Installation

The HE7420 can be suspended from a ceiling, wall mounted, or fitted to trunking, giving installers flexibility to suit any entrance layout. A wall mounting bracket is supplied as standard, allowing angular adjustment so the airflow can be directed precisely across the door opening. Suitable for mounting heights between 2m and 2.3m, this unit covers single doorways up to 630mm wide. At just 634mm wide, 210mm high, and 115mm deep, it fits neatly above standard single doors without obstructing signage or lighting.

Safety and Control

Integral switches on the unit provide immediate local control over heat and fan settings without the need for additional wiring. For locations where the unit is mounted out of easy reach, an optional remote switch (HE8407, sold separately) offers convenient operation from a more accessible position. An automatic safety cut-out provides thermal overload protection, shutting down the heating element if the unit overheats, protecting both the appliance and the surrounding environment.

Quiet Commercial Operation

With a maximum sound level of 46dB(A) at 3m, the HE7420 runs quietly enough for reception areas, retail counters, and hotel lobbies where excessive noise would be unwelcome. The white finish (RAL 9016) blends with most commercial interiors and ceiling lines. An air volume of 450m³/h ensures effective coverage across the full width of the doorway.
