Consort Over Door Heater 4.5kW Double HE8320

Consort Claudgen HE8320: 4.5kW heated air curtain designed for standard height double doorways, delivering a welcoming wall of warmth across openings up to 1.04m wide.

Warm Welcome for Every Visitor

This overdoor heater creates a consistent barrier of heated air that prevents cold draughts from entering busy commercial spaces such as shops, hotels, and offices. Three heat settings plus a fan-only mode give you full control over output, so you can switch to air circulation during warmer months without running the heating element. Maximum air volume reaches 650mﾳ/h, covering double doorways at mounting heights between 2m and 2.3m.

Flexible Installation Options

The HE8320 can be suspended from the ceiling, wall mounted, or fixed to trunking, making it suitable for a wide range of entrance layouts. A wall mounting bracket is supplied as standard, allowing angular adjustment to direct airflow precisely where it is needed. At just 1040mm wide, 210mm high, and 115mm deep, the unit sits neatly above the doorframe without dominating the entrance. The clean white finish (RAL 9016) blends with most commercial interiors.

Safety and Control

An automatic safety cut-out provides thermal overload protection, reducing the risk of damage from sustained high-temperature operation. Integral switches on the unit allow immediate local control, while an optional remote switch (HE8407, sold separately) lets staff operate the curtain from a reception desk or counter. The IP20-rated enclosure is appropriate for indoor commercial environments, and sound output stays at 49dB(A) at 3m, keeping noise levels comfortable for staff and customers.
