Consort Quartz Heater Softstart Controller Up To 6kW Load QSC6

Consort Claudgen QSC6: 6kW Quartz Heating Soft Starter with IP65 weatherproof rating for reliable outdoor and commercial installations.

Reliable Lamp Protection

The QSC6 is a motor soft starter designed to control up to 6kW of quartz heating load, removing the power-on surge that quartz lamps normally experience at switch-on. This soft start starter action reduces thermal shock to the lamp filament, so quartz heaters last longer and need replacing less often, cutting maintenance costs for installers and end users alike.

Weatherproof & Outdoor Ready

Rated IP65, the unit is fully sealed against dust and jetting water, making it suitable for exposed outdoor locations such as patios, smoking shelters, and terraces where standard controls would fail. This means a single soft starter can be specified for both indoor and outdoor quartz heating circuits without needing a separate enclosure.

Money-Saving Smart Control

Add the optional SL wireless time controller and the QSC6 gains a built-in receiver function, letting heaters run only when actually required rather than left on by default. This cuts running costs for the client and removes the need to run an extra control cable back to a remote switch, saving both cable and installation labour on site.

Easy Installation & Compliance

Consort Claudgen designs the QSC6 for straightforward wiring, so contractors can complete the installation quickly without complex commissioning steps. As a Consort Claudgen heaters accessory, it's built to work reliably alongside the wider Consort Claudgen quartz heating range, giving a single-source solution for both heater and starter.
