The Claudgen SLEXT Wireless Conversion Receiver Unit and Range Extender provides a simple way to add wireless control to compatible heaters or extend the operating range of an existing Claudgen wireless heating system. Add Wireless Control to Compatible Heaters

When used as a receiver unit, the SLEXT enables compatible heaters to be controlled wirelessly using a CRXSL or SL controller. This expands the available heating controls to include temperature and time control, providing greater flexibility over when and how the connected heater operates.

Each compatible heater requires its own SLEXT receiver to be controlled through a CRXSL, HRXSL or SL controller, making it straightforward to build a wireless heating control system around the requirements of the installation.

Extend Wireless Control Range

The SLEXT can also operate as a wireless range extender, increasing RF coverage where SL heaters are positioned too far from the controller to reliably receive the wireless transmission.

According to the manufacturer, the unit can double the range of compatible SL, CRXSL or HRXSL control systems, helping overcome transmission-distance limitations in larger properties or more challenging installations.

Suitable for Retrofit Installations

The SLEXT can be retrofitted to compatible heating installations, providing a convenient way to introduce wireless functionality without replacing the existing heater. Simple pairing with controllers and heaters helps streamline commissioning on site.

Its compact, surface-mounted enclosure measures just 82mm high, 80mm wide and 57mm deep, allowing the receiver to be installed discreetly alongside the heating system.

Mains Powered for Loads up to 3kW

Powered from a 230V AC supply, the SLEXT provides one heater output and can control loads up to 3kW, with a maximum switching current of 13A at 250V.

The receiver uses a normally open (NO) contact and is rated IP20 for suitable indoor installations.
