Consort Heater Controller For RX and SL Heaters HRXSL

Consort Claudgen HRXSL: wireless handheld controller for all RX and SL heaters, offering battery-powered convenience with four operating modes and open window detection.

Effortless Wireless Control

The HRXSL pairs quickly with compatible RX and SL heaters, giving you full room temperature control from a compact, handheld unit. There are no wires to run, which keeps installation fast and surfaces undamaged. Battery power (two AA cells included) means the controller works straight out of the box without any mains connection, making it ideal for retrofit projects or situations where cabling would be impractical.

Flexible Operating Modes

Four modes let you match heating to the way each space is used. Boost mode delivers a rapid temperature lift for occupied rooms that need immediate warmth, while Time/Manual mode (available with compatible heaters) allows scheduled heating without a separate programmer. A dedicated fan-only mode on compatible heaters provides air circulation in warmer months without activating the heating element, extending the usefulness of the system year-round.

Energy-Saving Intelligence

Built-in open window detection automatically reduces heater output when a sudden temperature drop signals an open window, cutting wasted energy. You can also choose whether room temperature is measured at the controller itself or at the heater, so the reading reflects conditions where it matters most. The on/off control characteristic with a resistance sensor keeps the room close to the set temperature without unnecessary cycling.

Security and Mounting

A security wall bracket is supplied so the controller can be stored in a fixed location between uses, reducing the risk of loss or damage in shared or commercial environments. The white finish and slim 54mm x 141mm x 20mm profile sit discreetly on any wall. IP20-rated construction suits standard indoor installations across offices, classrooms, and residential settings.
