Consort Panel Heater With Timer 2kW Stainless Steel PLS200SS

Consort Claudgen PLE200SS: 2kW Panel Heater with 7-day electronic timer and a stainless steel front panel.

Precise 7-Day Programmable Control

The electronic thermostat and 7-day timer let you set up to six heating periods per day, so the room warms up before you arrive and cools down when it's empty. A copy day function carries one day's schedule across the week in a single step, cutting setup time for multi-room installs. Four operating modes (Programme, Boost, Setback and Manual) cover everything from full weekly scheduling to a quick 15-minute Boost when you need heat fast.

Whisper-Quiet Convector Heating

Unlike a fan convector heater, the PLE200SS has no fan, so there's no motor noise or moving parts to wear out. Warm air rises naturally through the top-mounted perforated grille and aluminium heating element, giving even, silent heat distribution that's better suited to bedrooms, hotel rooms and offices where noise matters. This convector heater vs fan heater difference also means lower long-term maintenance for the installer.

Safety & Damp-Area Protection

Rated IP24 and splashproof, the unit is suitable for bathrooms and other damp areas where a standard heater can't be fitted. Open window detection cuts heating automatically if a sudden temperature drop suggests a window has been left open, reducing wasted energy. Class I protection and an electronic child lock keep the concealed digital controls secure from tampering in shared or public spaces such as hotels and offices.

Installation & Compliance

Wall-mounted with a 1.1m connection cable and 230V/50Hz supply, the PLE200SS is straightforward to first-fix in new builds or retrofit into existing rooms. At 852mm wide, 430mm high and 93mm deep, and weighing 6.5kg, it suits standard wall spans without oversized brackets. Consort Claudgen designs and manufactures the unit in the UK, giving contractors a traceable supply chain for spec compliance.
