Consort Utility Frost Protector Heater 450W UHA05

Consort Claudgen UHA05: 450W Frostfighter utility heater with splash-proof IP24 rating and a variable thermostat with frost protection setting.

Frost Protection & Thermostatic Control

The variable thermostat lets you dial in a working temperature or switch to the dedicated frost protection setting, which triggers automatically once the ambient temperature falls below 5°C. This keeps unheated spaces such as garages, lofts and cellars safe from freezing pipes without leaving the heater running at full output all day.

Splash-Proof Safety & Reliability

Rated to IP24, the Frostfighter tolerates splashing water, so it can go into boats, caravans, cellars and outbuildings where a standard domestic heater wouldn't be permitted. An automatic safety cut-out and a power-on neon indicator give a quick visual check that the unit is working correctly on sites where it's left unattended.

Convector Heating, Not Fan Assisted

Unlike a fan convector heater that relies on a motor to push warm air across the room, the UHA05 works as a natural radiator convector: heat rises through the perforated front grille by convection alone. That means quieter operation with no moving parts to wear out, an important distinction when weighing convector heater v fan heater options for confined or unmanned spaces.

Robust Construction & Flexible Mounting

A steel front panel and steel heating element are built to withstand knocks on site, and the barley white finish resists marking in daily use. It can be run freestanding or fixed to a wall in either a vertical or horizontal orientation, and it arrives with a fitted 1.5m cable and plug so it's ready to use straight out of the box. Consort Claudgen designs the Frostfighter range specifically for demanding utility and trade environments.
