Consort Utility Frost Protector Heater 1kW UHA10S

Consort Claudgen UHA10S: 1kW Fan Convector Heater with IP24 splashproof rating and frost protection thermostat, built for lofts, garages, boats and cellars.

Safety & Reliability

Splashproof to IP24 and finished in tough steel, the UHA10S is rated for use in damp, low-traffic spaces where standard heaters aren't suitable. An automatic safety cut-out protects against overheating, and a power-on neon indicator confirms at a glance that the unit is live.

Climate Control & Frost Protection

A variable mechanical thermostat lets you set your preferred room temperature, with a dedicated frost protection setting that switches the heater on automatically once ambient temperature drops below 5°C. This keeps unheated spaces such as garages and outbuildings safe from freezing without running the heater constantly.

Fan Convector Heater vs Fan Heater Performance

Unlike a basic fan heater, the UHA10S combines convector heating with an independent fan, so warm air is generated efficiently and then circulated further into the room. A dedicated fan-only setting also allows the unit to be used purely for air movement when heating isn't required, useful for damp or poorly ventilated areas.

Installation & Compliance

Manufactured by Consort Claudgen, the UHA10S can be used as a portable unit or permanently fixed in either a vertical or horizontal orientation, with a fitted 1.5m cable and plug for straightforward connection. True to its name, the Consort Claudgen range is designed as a dependable companion for demanding utility environments where robust, low-maintenance heating is needed.
