What is Dimplex Control?

Dimplex Control is a free IOS and Android app that you can be used to control Dimplex QRad, Dimplex Quantum RF’s, and Dimplex Quantum Water Cylinders. It can control any combination of these heaters individually or by zone. The Dimplex Control App gives you complete control over your heating system from anywhere in the world. Via the App you have access to the 7-day user-programmable time and temperature controls, a range of preprogrammed timer modes, fault reports, and detailed data on your energy usage. To control the QRad heaters wirelessly, one RF Module per QRad and one Dimplex Hub per property is required.

Is the QRad Eco-Friendly?

One of the most economical electric radiators on the market, the QRad is fully EcoDesign Lot 20 compliant and, unlike Dimplex Quantum storage heaters, they don’t need an Economy 7 tariff to make the best of its eco-friendly features. This intelligent heater knows exactly when to start heating up in order to reach your desired temperature at your desired time, it also senses when a door or window is open and automatically lowers its output. This, combined with an extremely accurate thermostat (+/- 0.2°C) and specially designed radiant and convector elements, makes for an electric heater that ensures no energy or money is wasted. You can further reduce your carbon footprint by downloading the Dimplex Control App and programming your heater so it is only on when you want it to be.
