FuseBox A65GRAGY is a ready-built IP65 garage consumer unit in grey aluminium, fitted with a 63A 30mA RCD and 6A and 16A MCBs. It's a quick, weatherproof way to supply lighting and power to garages, sheds, workshops and outbuildings.

Ready-Built Garage Consumer Unit

The A65GRAGY arrives with its protective devices already fitted, so you can go straight to connecting circuits instead of building a board from scratch. The 63A 30mA RCD gives earth leakage protection to every circuit on the board, guarding against electric shock in areas where power tools and damp conditions often go together. The 6A MCB suits a lighting circuit and the 16A MCB a socket or power circuit, which covers the typical needs of a garage or outbuilding in one compact unit.

Built for Outdoor and Outbuilding Use

The aluminium enclosure is rated IP65, making it dust tight and protected against water jets. It works in garages with up-and-over doors, damp sheds, outdoor walls and garden buildings. The RAL 7015 grey powder-coated finish stands up to knocks and weather, and it gives the unit an understated look on brick and timber walls. The 20mm cable entries are drilled on site, so only the openings you need are made. The rubber caps and screw recess plugs in the accessory pack keep the IP65 seal intact.

Simple, Compliant Installation

The board is built to BS EN 61439-3, with the enclosure to BS EN 62208, the RCD to IEC EN 61008-1 and the MCBs to IEC EN 60898-1. The RCD accepts cables up to 35mm² and the MCBs up to 16mm², both at 2.5Nm, while the earth and neutral terminals take 16mm² at 2.0Nm. Keyhole fixings on 100mm x 180mm centres make wall mounting quick, and circuit identification labels are included for a clear, professional finish.
