Hager Witty One XVU107CCT-MO is the tethered version of Hager's 7kW single-phase residential EV charger, supplied with an attached 6.5m Type 2 cable so drivers connect straight away without needing their own cable. Supplied ready for dynamic load management via CT clamp and Monta smart charging integration, it combines home charging with app-based commissioning and future-ready connectivity.

Convenient Home EV Charging

The permanently attached 6.5m Type 2 cable is held by integrated cable management on the unit itself, keeping it tidy and off the floor between charging sessions rather than being left to trail or coil loosely.

Commissioning is handled through the Hager Charge app over Bluetooth. The charger also includes WiFi and 4G connectivity (requires 4G board, sold separately), an integrated RFID reader for tap-to-charge access control, and an LED status indicator so drivers can see charging status at a glance.

Installation is straightforward too, with cable entry from the top, bottom and rear and screwless terminals, plus a modular design where the majority of components can be repaired on-site rather than requiring a full unit swap.

Money-Saving Charging

The charger includes a slot for an optional CT board, enabling dynamic load management so charging current adjusts automatically based on the property's overall electricity demand. Paired with the CT-MONTA one integration, this supports smart tariff-based and solar-aware charging strategies through the Monta platform, helping keep charging costs down without manual scheduling.

Safety & Reliability

The XVU107CCT-MO is built to IP55 and IK10 ratings, giving strong protection against dust, water ingress and physical impact for wall-mounted outdoor or indoor use. It includes built-in PEN fault detection and integrated 6mA DC residual current detection (RDC-DD), plus an emergency release function in the event of a power failure. The unit is Class I rated and independently tested to all clauses of the relevant British Standards.

Renewable-Ready

Through its Monta integration, the Witty One is solar/PV ready, allowing charging to be optimised alongside a property's solar generation rather than drawing consistently from the grid regardless of on-site supply.
