Pod Point Solo 3S Locking Mechanism

Pod Point Solo 3S Locking Mechanism PP-2400031-1 is a key-operated lock for the Pod Point Solo 3S EV Charger. It comes with 2 keys, so only you decide when the charger can be used.

A charger on a street-facing driveway, shared car park or communal site can be used by anyone who plugs in. This key lock lets the owner switch the charger out of use with a turn of the key. It stops unauthorised charging and protects against electricity theft.

Control & Access for Your Solo 3S EV Charger

With the lock engaged, the charger stays unavailable until the key is turned back. You don't need to isolate the supply or reach for an app. It is a simple physical control that works for home owners, landlords and small business sites.

Two identical keys are supplied, so you can keep one for daily use and store one as a backup. A flashing yellow LED on the charger confirms the key lock is enabled, so you can see the charger's status at a glance.

This key lock is separate from the Solo 3S socket's built-in cable locking, which holds the Type 2 connector in place during a session. Together, they secure both the cable connection and access to the charger itself.

Installation & Compliance for Installers

The lock barrel fits through the side of the charger enclosure, on either the left or right. This lets you choose the side that stays clear of walls and is easiest for the customer to reach. The lock cable connects directly to the charger's PCB, so the finished install is neat and discreet with no external wiring.

The locking washer and nut are supplied, so you don't need extra fixings. A step drill is the only specialist tool needed, which keeps the install quick and the cost to your customer low.
