Built for simpler residential installs, this screen-free MaxiCharger delivers a true tap-and-go charging experience through full app-based control, so there's no display to navigate, just start and go. Charging is authenticated via RFID tap or the app itself, with RFID cards available separately for households that prefer a physical card over their phone.

WiFi, Bluetooth, Ethernet and RS-485 connectivity keep the charger talking to your home network however it's set up and firmware updates keep it future-ready for tomorrow's energy-saving technologies as they roll out.

Money-Saving Smart Charging

Smart tariff integration lets you charge your vehicle using low-cost energy tariffs and flexibility services, so charging can shift toward the cheapest electricity available rather than running at a fixed time regardless of price. An energy management app lets you monitor, maximise and even monetise your home energy use, importing, exporting and controlling with ease.

Renewable-Ready

Solar integration allows the charger to draw on your own free, renewable generation to power your vehicle, and home ecosystem integration extends this further, giving interoperability with solar and battery storage systems already installed at the property.

Safety & Reliability

PME fault and PEN protection is built directly into the unit, giving user safety without the need for expensive earth rods. Ground fault detection covers AC 30mA and DC 6mA, alongside overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage and integrated surge protection. Tamper alerts also provide peace of mind, flagging up if the charger is interfered with or removed.

The enclosure is rated IP54 and IK10, built from durable plastic and finished in black, and operates reliably from -30°C to +50°C. It's backed by a 3 year warranty, with additional years available to purchase.

Installation & Compliance

Real-time load balancing automatically adjusts the charger's power output to suit the property's available supply, with both static and dynamic load balancing capabilities built in. Rapid installation technology, including an installer commissioning app and SmartDock hardware, is designed to make first fix faster and more straightforward on site.

The charger supports OCPP 1.6J and OCPP 2.0.1, integrating with a wide range of third-party software, services and devices, and is OZEV grant approved, helping cover the cost of installation at eligible properties. It's fully compliant with the UK's Electric Vehicles (Smart Charge Points) Regulations 2021.
