Timeguard Suretime ST910 — 2-Wire PIR Automatic Light Switch, 10m Range

The Timeguard Suretime ST910 is a 2-wire PIR automatic light switch designed to replace a standard wall switch and provide simple, energy-saving presence control on lighting circuits. It turns lights on when movement is detected and off after a user-set delay, helping cut energy waste in areas such as hallways, landings, utility rooms and small offices.

Energy-Saving Presence Control

With a 120° detection angle and up to 10m front / 3m side detection range at the recommended 1.1m mounting height, the ST910 reliably covers typical circulation spaces and small rooms. Adjustable time-on from 10seconds to 15minutes and a lux setting from 1–10 mean you can ensure lights only run when movement is detected and ambient light is below your chosen level. A red LED gives a clear visual indication when motion is detected, useful during commissioning and testing.

Flexible Setup & Manual Override

Dial controls, concealed behind the front plate, make it easy to fine-tune lux and time settings without spoiling the clean appearance. A front slider allows selection of Manual ON/OFF or AUTO modes, so users can temporarily override automatic control when needed. A DIP switch lets installers enable or disable the manual ON/OFF function entirely on more tightly controlled installations.

Installer-Friendly 2-Wire Design

The ST910 uses a simple 2-wire connection and fits a standard 25mm back box with 60mm fixing centres, making it well suited to retrofits in place of an existing wall switch. It supports LED loads from 5–300W when used with the ZV900 load controller, plus 300W halogen, 18–150W fluorescent (low-loss or electronic ballast) and 15–100W CFL, all with less than 1W standby consumption. A tough white polycarbonate body with IP40 rating and -20°C to 40°C operating temperature range ensures reliable performance in a wide variety of indoor environments.
