The Timeguard LEDBHR25WPIR is a 25W LED bulkhead with built-in PIR sensor, designed as an energy-saving replacement for traditional round bulkheads in flats, car parks, loading bays and communal walkways. It delivers 2000lm of cool white (5000K) light with a wide 120° beam, giving bright, even coverage while keeping running costs low.

Automatic PIR Lighting For Safer Access

The integrated PIR detector switches the light on automatically when movement is detected and off after a user-set delay, so fittings don’t burn energy in empty areas. Time, lux and sensitivity are all adjustable, allowing you to set how long the light stays on, the ambient light level at which it operates and the detection distance (0.5–6m with a 100° detection angle at 3m mounting height). A pulse manual override lets you hold the light permanently on for maintenance, security patrols or events without changing the main settings.

Weatherproof, Hard-Wearing Bulkhead

A die-cast aluminium body with tough polycarbonate lens gives the LEDBHR25WPIR excellent impact resistance and durability on exposed sites. The IP65 rating protects against dust and water jets, making it suitable for outdoor walls, corridors, stairwells and covered walkways. With an integrated LED panel rated at around 10 years’ life and standby consumption below 0.5W, it offers a low-maintenance, low-energy solution for landlords and facilities managers.

Quick To Install And Easy To Retrofit

Surface mounting with back and side cable entry plus 220mm fixing centres makes it straightforward to replace existing Round bulkheads or install on new junction boxes. Installers can set PIR time, lux and sensitivity using simple dials during commissioning, tailoring each fitting to its location. Once installed, the LEDBHR25WPIR provides reliable automatic lighting with no lamps to replace and minimal ongoing attention required.
