The Vectaire ELX1003HDTLV is the SELV (Safety Extra-Low Voltage) variant of the Elix continuous-running centrifugal dMEV fan range. Designed for enhanced electrical safety in high-risk wet environments, it provides powerful, quiet and energy-efficient extraction through long duct runs up to 15m. With built-in humidistat and comfort timer functions, the fan intelligently boosts when needed to control condensation, damp and mould while keeping running costs exceptionally low.
Ideal for bathrooms, ensuites and all domestic wet rooms, the ELX1003HDTLV uses a high-efficiency EC motor with selectable continuous trickle speeds and moisture-responsive boost. It carries full compliance with UK Building Regulations Parts F and L, along with SAP PCDB listing and EST Best Practice performance — making it a trusted specification choice for installers.
Safe SELV Performance for High-Risk Wet Areas: The ELX1003HDTLV operates at low voltage (SELV), making it suitable for installation in Zones 1 and 2 where standard mains-voltage fans may not be appropriate. Its IPX4 splashproof housing and double-insulated construction provide added safety reassurance without compromising performance.
Intelligent Humidity & Comfort Timer Control: A built-in humidistat automatically boosts airflow when humidity rises, providing effective moisture management during showers and high-use periods. The comfort timer activates only if the fan has been running continuously for at least two minutes — preventing nuisance operation from brief night-time switch activations.
Designed for Long Duct Runs with Quiet, Efficient Ventilation: As a centrifugal dMEV unit, the ELX1003HDTLV maintains strong airflow even through ducting up to 15m. Anti-vibration gaskets, anti-turbulence engineering and a removable washable filter ensure quiet operation and simple long-term maintenance, making it ideal for modern, airtight homes.
