Reducing Breakout Noise in Occupied Dwellings

The Sentinel Econiq S is designed to run continuously and is typically installed in a cupboard, utility space, or accessible ceiling void within the dwelling. In tighter or more acoustically sensitive installations — particularly where the MVHR is in or adjacent to a habitable room — the acoustic enclosure provides meaningful additional attenuation of the mechanical noise generated by the unit's fans and motors. The highly efficient motors are mounted on anti-vibration mounts to ensure minimal vibration transmission, and the addition of the enclosure further reduces the noise that breaks out through the unit casing into the surrounding space.
