The Vent-Axia 448347 is a wall-mounted LED indicator supplied with 15 metres of cable, designed for use with the Vent-Axia Lo-Carbon Sentinel Kinetic MVHR range. It illuminates when the MVHR unit detects that a filter check is required or when a unit fault has occurred — giving occupants and facilities managers a clear, visible alert at a convenient location in the dwelling without needing to access the MVHR unit directly, which is typically installed in a loft space, cupboard, or other out-of-the-way location.

Visible Filter and Fault Alert — Without Accessing the Unit

The Sentinel Kinetic MVHR unit is designed for continuous 24-hour operation and requires periodic filter maintenance to maintain performance and Building Regulations compliance. When the unit triggers its internal "Check Filters" reminder, or when a fault condition is detected, the LED indicator illuminates at the wall-mounted position — providing a clear, accessible prompt to the occupant or property manager that action is required. This removes the need to check the unit display directly, which is often impractical in installations where the unit is ceiling-mounted, loft-installed, or in a restricted cupboard space.
